New: KGL LED (shift light & flags)

When we created our Sim Racing Dashboards, our main goal was to bring a DDU to the market that would not make you go bankrupt. Compared to other big brands we managed to create a high quality product for a very affordable price.

To keep the price down, we could not integrate LED’s in our DDU since this would increase the production time and complexity and thus: the price.

We got many, and I really mean many positive reactions (for which we can’t thank you enough) on our range of Sim Racing Dashboards. But we did get the question “will you ever release a dashboard with integrated LEDs?”

Our answer is yes and no: instead we created our “KGL LED“. A shift light (and flag indicator) unit that can be fitted on your existing KGL-DDU5 or KGL-DDU5-M. This way we created an expansion that can be bought by our existing customers but also offers a solution for new buyers. Even when bought together with the dashboard we still manage to offer a dashboard-LED combination for a price that is cheaper compared to the bigger brands. Mission Accomplished!

The KGL LED does use a seperate USB connection due to this “expansion approach” we took, but this does not impact the functionality or quality of this product one single bit. It is a fully functional, programmable shift light (with the possibility to also display active flags).

We offer several profiles/templates for download that get you started right away, these profiles can be adapted or fine-tuned to your liking!

At the moment we offer a KGL-DDU5(-M) expansion kit but also plan to release a standalone mount to mount this LED bar straight to your rig and other more universal mounting solutions.
